6 Days Memorable Experience In Rwanda
Itinerary overview
Rwanda may be a small country in terms of surface area, but it excels in providing high-quality services. The country is rich in biodiversity hotspots, historical and cultural sites, adventure activities, meeting and exhibition venues, and more.
Rwanda has four national parks, namely Akagera, Nyungwe, Volcanoes, and Gishwati-Mukura National Park, which offer a variety of adventurous activities for visitors. In the span of six days, visitors can enjoy mountain gorilla trekking, hiking Bisoke, trekking golden monkeys, and experiencing the BIG FIVE animals.
Upon arrival, you will meet our professional driver-guide at the airport. During the city tour, you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and the Campaign Against Genocide Museum. Afterward, you will be transferred to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, we will follow the road as it climbs and descends some of the thousand hills, providing us with spectacular views all along the Northern Province of the country. Upon arrival at Volcanoes National Park’s headquarters, we will complete the registration process and meet with the park’s nature guide for a briefing. During the briefing, the guide will provide us with essential information about the park and some do’s and don’ts regarding the activity.
As we start the tour, we will enjoy the cool breeze of the breathtaking nature surrounding us, along with the diverse and stunning biodiversity of plants and birds. During the hike, we will eventually reach the top, where we will be rewarded with views of the majestic Crater Lake and spectacular views of the country.
Overnight at Bishop House, Amakoro Songa Lodge, Singta Kwitonda Lodge, One&Only Gorilla’s Nest, Virunga Lodge, Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, Bisate Lodge (FB)
As the second light of dawn breaks through the curtain of mist clinging to the summits of Bisoke, we embark on our trip to trek a habituated group of golden monkeys to conserve energy for trekking mountain gorillas the next day. After the remarkable experience with these primates, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
Following lunch, we will visit the Gorilla Guardian Village, where you will have the opportunity to meet with the villagers along the way. Upon arrival at the Gorilla Guardian Village, you will enjoy a unique traditional Rwandan dance performance and witness a local traditional wedding ceremony.
Overnight at Bishop House, Amakoro Songa Lodge, Singta Kwitonda Lodge, One&Only Gorilla’s Nest, Virunga Lodge, Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, Bisate Lodge (FB)
After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the park headquarters to register for gorilla trekking. At the headquarters, the staff will divide all visitors into groups based on the gorilla groups they are supposed to visit and provide advice on which group is suitable depending on their fitness level. When meeting with the nature guide, he/she will provide you with brief information regarding the gorilla trek.
Next, you will drive to the designated location for gorilla trekking. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch before heading back to Kigali.
Overnight at Kigali
After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to the park headquarters to register for gorilla trekking. Overnight at Kigali
After breakfast at the lodge/camp, we will embark on a long game drive, allowing us to explore all parts of Akagera, from the south to the north of the park.
Afterwards, we will drive back to Kigali for some shopping and to catch your flight.
