3 Days Mountain Gorilla Trek

Itinerary overview

Volcanoes National Park is one of the oldest national parks, boasting a stunning chain of volcanoes, including Kalisimbi, Bisoke, Sabyinyo, Gahinga, and Muhabura. These majestic volcanoes serve as a habitat for a diverse range of biodiversity, some of which are endemic to the Albertine Rift region including; mountain gorillas and golden monkeys.  In Volcanoes National Park, visitors can engage in various activities, such as mountain gorilla trekking, golden monkey trekking, hiking, bird watching, and paying a visit to Diane Fossey’s tomb. Additionally, there are activities outside the park, such as exploring the Musanze caves, community walks, camping, boating in the twin lakes, and many others.

Later, you will travel to Musanze in the Northern part of the county, where you will experience the breathtaking beauty of the twin lakes, Burera and Ruhondo. As the sun sets, you will enjoy a cup of coffee at My Hill Eco-lodge while feeling the cool breeze from the twin lakes.
