Upon your morning arrival, you will be welcomed by our professional driver-guide at the airport. The first stop on your itinerary will be a visit to the Nyandungu Urban Wetland Eco-Park and have lunch at Nyandungu restaurant
In the afternoon, you will follow the road as it climbs to the base of the majestic volcanoes, offering you spectacular views of the High Mountains in the northern part of the country. From there, you will continue towards Volcanoes National Park.
Overnight at Sabyinyo SilverBack Lodge (FB)
As it is your first time reaching the majestic volcanoes, you will head towards gorilla trekking. Volcanoes National Park is home to endemic primate species such as the mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. Trekking the mountain gorillas is a truly unique experience that nature lovers cherish. However, it is essential to be prepared for several hours of challenging walk in wet and muddy conditions during the gorilla trekking expedition.
Overnight at Sabyinyo SilverBack Lodge (HB)
After breakfast in the morning, you will visit the Musanze Caves. Following your exploration of the caves, you will have lunch at your hotel. Afterward, your journey will continue towards Rubavu, a charming tourist town located on the northern shore of Lake Kivu.
Overnight at Kivu Serena Hotel (FB)
During the morning hours, you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the calm and pristine water of Africa’s great lake. Afterward, you will return to Kigali and that marks the end of your unforgettable experience.
